I’m planing a new mix, in a change to my usual style of bootleg breaks I’m planning a different style consisting of electro, techno, breaks and possibly something else. There will still be a couple of bootlegs or cheesy tunes in there to make people smile.

There is a minor delay in that the records I ordered last week from places that I don’t usually use haven’t arrived yet, but they should be here in the next day or so allowing me to put something together.

To celebrate the release of a new mix I’ll be putting a new t-shirt up for people to buy with the mix logo, hope you like it

F*cking spammers, they have been for the past week or so using two of my domains for forging sender email addresses so I’ve been getting lots of bounced mails. The two domains in question are spodnet.net and hxnet.org, please if you receive spam from these two domains don’t bounce it, in fact don’t bounce spam at all, just junk it practically all spam nowadays is from forged domains. I’ve enabled spf on the two domains which is helping a bit and I’ll be turning off mail on hxnet.org completely shortly.

Kicking off on the 9th October 2006, we have Ben Balofonic ex Dreadzone DJ who last played at the 5th birthday party, should be a banging night. Also that night there is the Launch Party for local boy Dekoy with his new tune Bump It Up which features a remix by Porno Breaks and will be released on Control Breaks Recordings. Pook (Vibe FM/Breakfish) will be warming up. If that wasn’t enough there will also be a showing of Max Thiefs new video Grimey. The video is the latest instalment from Bongwahjazz Films, with director and editor Rob Phillips once again showcasing his unique talents. Catch it at the Monday Club first, before it airs on Channel U, MTV2 and the Internet.

There’s another night in November that shouldn’t be missed, another launch party this time from local boys diverted with Only One by Diverted and Dopamine on their diverted traffic label. DJ’s on the night include Diverted, Atomic Hooligan, Dopermine + Support from Diverted Traffic artists Mr No Hands, Tom Tonic and Cosmicbell.
