Friday 9th June - Beehive

Tuesday, May 30th, 2006

A slight detour from my usual style and going back to the pub dj stylee, I’ll be playing a mix of football related tunes (something to do with something called the world cup) and party tunes (of a more cheesy variety), some indie, house and whatever else I can dig out at the Beehive on the 9th June. I’m covering for someone else so don’t expect a load of breaks, although I’ll be slipping a few in when nobody is looking :)

The Beehive Pub can be found in st albans, just off london road next to londis.

Impromptu gigs

Tuesday, April 4th, 2006

My head hurts, I turned up at the monday club last night with the plan to give out some new demo cd’s and have a couple of pints. All was going well, two pints in 3 cd’s left…. Anyway, several pints later I get told by Hansi that he’s going to run out of music (it was a producers night, local producers provide a few of their own tunes including local boys diverted, which as always had everyone dancing and t-phonic some great d’n'b production - watch out of his name in the future) and he says my demo cd will provide the last 30 mins, great I thought as he gave me a pint for the privilege. Half way through this “impromptu gig” there was a frenzy to get a copy of my demo cd, which not surprisingly, I ran out of copies very quicly.

Isn’t it always the nights you plan to be quiet always end up been the complete opposite? ;)
