Impromptu gigs

Tuesday, April 4th, 2006

My head hurts, I turned up at the monday club last night with the plan to give out some new demo cd’s and have a couple of pints. All was going well, two pints in 3 cd’s left…. Anyway, several pints later I get told by Hansi that he’s going to run out of music (it was a producers night, local producers provide a few of their own tunes including local boys diverted, which as always had everyone dancing and t-phonic some great d’n'b production – watch out of his name in the future) and he says my demo cd will provide the last 30 mins, great I thought as he gave me a pint for the privilege. Half way through this “impromptu gig” there was a frenzy to get a copy of my demo cd, which not surprisingly, I ran out of copies very quicly.

Isn’t it always the nights you plan to be quiet always end up been the complete opposite? ;)

New Mix Coming Shortly….

Saturday, April 1st, 2006

I’ve got a new mix which I’m just in the middle of listening back to featuring, Agent K, Stanton Warriors, Screwface, Autobots, Peter Paul and more. I’ve tried to stay away from the bootlegs although there are still a couple in there :)

It should be available in the next few hours…..

MySpace

Saturday, February 25th, 2006

I’ve created a myspace profile, there’s nothing much there but if you want to add me to your myspace profile then feel free to do so, I’ll add you to mine too. Rather worrying is www.myspace.com/littlemartin has nothing to do with me, in fact it’s a girl so I picked the next best thing:

DJ Mix Hosting

Wednesday, February 15th, 2006

I’m considering allowing other dj’s to host mixes on my server for a small fee, I’m thinking along the lines of 50p/month per mix minimum 1 year contract or 1 quid/mix per month with a monthly contract. I’ll possibly offer full site hosting for 5 quid/month with a monthly contract, this will allow you to have a large amount of disc space. These details are just initial thoughts, I’ll work something out fully in the next few days and post details.
If anyone is interested please contact me using the contact page.

Nights to look forward to at The Monday Club

Monday, February 13th, 2006

Just a note, the monday club have Diverted (Sokolov Records & TCR), Dekoy (live pa) & Teflonchild (live pa) playing on the 27th March, and in April they have Aston Harvey from the Freestylers who need no introduction to anyone who knows their breaks. Remember it doesn’t cost to get into The Monday Club, so you’ve got no excuses for not turning up :)
